People and Culture
JSL always seeks to innovate and simplify our clients' daily lives by offering customized logistics solutions for each of them. But here the focus is not only on the client, it is also on our people who make the difference in our business. There are over 25,000 dedicated people, with great knowledge and committed to delivering their best. And nothing fairer than valuing them, right? That's why we invest in the health, safety and training of our employees.
Women in Management
The program was created with the purpose of helping women who dream of driving heavy machines, trucks or buses, increasingly assume the direction of their lives, achieving their goals and financial independence.
In 2021, JSL looked for drivers who had a driver's license in category E, without experience as a truck driver, and offered a complete training course lasting 360 hours. After the course, all were hired to work for the group.
Business impact
Aware of valuing the quality of the relationship with suppliers, clients and the community, JSL invests in actions that promote and reinforce partnerships with these stakeholders. Thus, the company promotes lasting relationships and the generation of value with suppliers, working in the communities surrounding the operations and contributing to local development.
As a result, JSL generates several impacts on society, ranging from valuing local suppliers to benefitting the community, understanding client needs so that we can exceed their expectations.
In addition, with our sustainability policy, JSL highlights social actions as one of its principles, by promoting the quality of life of the population that, directly or indirectly, has contact with the company. Learn more about these impacts!
Environmental Management
Committed to preventing or minimizing the negative effects on the environment generated, directly or indirectly, by the provision of our services, JSL seeks to quantify and assess the impacts on all operations and units.
To this end, we have entered into several strategic partnerships, participating in programs that
contribute to the absorption of CO², such as “Águas da Mantiqueira”, by our client Toyota, where each company needs to restore one hectare of forest in the municipality of Sapucaí Mirim, in Minas Gerais, located in Serra da Mantiqueira.
As a result, JSL's priority is the efficient and rational use of energy and waste management, in order to contribute to environmental well-being.

JSL as per the stakeholders
“JSL's business structure, diversified within the various segments in which it operates, is one of its great differentials. It provides resilience even in adverse scenarios. The company is present from road freight transport to dedicated services in areas such as agribusiness. This wide range allows you to deliver quality results. I also highlight the ability to carry out acquisitions, such as those made throughout 2021. The merged companies gave muscle to the business structure, bringing scale gains and making JSL even more attractive to the market. Today, the company is at a differentiated level of value.”
Gilberto Xandó
ndependent member of the board of directors
“In addition to maintaining a remarkable evolution in the accounting, financial and ESG controls spheres, with permanent monitoring by the Audit Committee, the company has been deepening and improving its practices in these areas, which are promptly incorporated into the acquired companies. Also worthy of note is the concern of senior management with the environment and with encouraging diversity, topics that should occupy the market’s attention in 2022.”
Luiz Paes
Independent Member of the Audit Committee
“JSL has been a partner of Fundação Toyota do Brasil since 2021 in actions aimed at reducing the impact of its operations on the environment. We present our projects and, always working together, we seek and define a way to act in the regeneration of forests. JSL's proactivity and openness to dialogue made all the difference in choosing the best opportunity. The company is part of the Águas da Mantiqueira Project, and has financially supported the ecological restoration of the Santo Antonio do Pinhal (SP) region, which is part of the Serra da Mantiqueira, the eighth most important biome in the world."
Viviane Mansi
Director of Communications, Public Relations and Sustainability - Toyota do Brasil

“JSL recorded strong growth and consolidated business in a challenging year. It expanded the revenue base from acquisitions, diversified services, segments served and geographic coverage, while maintaining financial discipline, liquidity and profitability. After the corporate reorganization and the IPO, the evolution of governance and internal controls, the transparency of ESG information for the market and the policy of valuing human capital are evident. JSL's market leadership, combined with the history of quality of its services, enables the company to provide complete solutions and offer personalized service to its customers.”
Regina Nunes
RNA Capital Consultoria
“JSL has stood out remarkably in the segments in which it operates. In my view, the company's great differential is the training and qualification it offers to its employees. From the first steps within the corporation, we are guided on the sustainability policy and on the environmental responsibility of our activities. These are topics of great relevance to the company.”
